Amazing location in the redwoods. Friendly and accommodating staff. Great views from the balcony. Delicious vegan breakfast. Cozy and well-equipped rooms. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Huge jet tub in room #5. Late check-in was no problem

The newly renovated room has a spacious shower. A sink near the fridge would be convenient. Breakfast is good and the hotel's location in a redwood forest is beautiful. The lodge, room, and grounds are nicely decorated. There is no cleaning service, phone, or TV in the room, but it's quiet due to few tenants. The manager accommodated my request for a downstairs room. The property has signs indicating a good water supply for fire protection.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were incredibly spacious and impeccably clean. The location was just outside of town but gave us the feeling of being secluded in the beautiful mountains. The bathroom was also fantastic, with a high level of cleanliness. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Additionally, the breakfast provided was simple but satisfying, with a variety of options to choose from.

Spacious, well-appointed room. Super close to Scott’s Flats. WiFi works for remote work. Quiche & pancakes for breakfast. Fridge & microwave in room. Clean, quiet, serene grounds. Trail access. Dog-friendly. Friendly & helpful hostess. Peaceful, out-of-town lodging on beautiful land.

The lodge is nestled in the Tahoe National Forest with beautifully landscaped gardens and a pet-friendly atmosphere. The breakfast is amazing and the staff is super kind and helpful.

We had a warm and cozy welcome from Michelle, who even greeted us when we arrived early. She offered us coffee and gave us insights on the Victorian Christmas event. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The jetted tub in our room was relaxing, and the updated fabric blinds were a hit. The breakfast was made-to-order and delicious. The management team worked well together, and the on-site cook fixed a cold room promptly. The fenced yard for dogs was a great feature.
We felt welcomed and have no complaints.
